First Amendment to the Real Estate Purchase, Land Development and Management Agreement between Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, City of Orlando and Tavistock Development Company related to the Poitras Property
Summary:

The City, GOAA and Tavistock Development Company, "Tavistock", entered into a Real Estate Purchase, Land Development and Management Agreement on March 7, 2017. Under the terms of the Agreement, Tavistock is to purchase from GOAA and the City approximately 782 acres of the Poitras property for residential development and an additional 380 acres of the Poitras property that is currently subject to a conservation easement.  Due to the complex nature of the proposed sale, the parties desire to amend the Agreement to extend the deadline by which Tavistock must obtain and deliver surveys and also extend deadlines for the parties to generate appraisal guidelines, complete appraisals, obtain title insurance, provide title and survey objections and complete the Phase 1 Environmental Study.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached First Amendment and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to execute same, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
