Ordinance No. 2017-28 Designating Certain Land Generally Located South Of Rixey Street, West Of Jamajo Boulevard, East Of Lake Baldwin Lane And North Of Hargrove Street And Comprised Of 0.96 Acres Of Land, More Or Less, As Planned Development Zoning District With the Aircraft Noise Overlay District On The City’s Official Zoning Maps (Economic Development) (Lake Baldwin 5 PD, ZON2017-00003)


The attached ordinance will allow a two-story, rear-loaded, 5 unit townhome development in addition to 4 single-family residences. The PD will be subject to the standards of the R-2A zoning district, subject to modification to the townhome front setbacks and the required bufferyard between the townhomes and the single-family residences. 

The MPB recommended approval of this request on March 21, 2017. City Council approved the meeting minutes of the March 2017 MPB hearing on April 24, 2017.  The associated annexation and GMP amendment for this case (Ordinance No.2017-26) is a separate item on this agenda.

Recommended Action:
Approve the attached ordinance number 2017-28 on first reading and request that the Mayor and the City Clerk present the draft ordinance for second reading and public hearing at the next regular City Council meeting.
