| | | | | | | | Subject: | Julie Iooss Employee Service Award 30 Years | Summary: | Julie Iooss has been working in Families, Parks & Recreation for 30 years. She has overseen many defining moments and major accomplishments. She began her career with the City as a crew leader and earned promotions to her current position as the Horticulture Program Manager. She oversees the Environmental Horticulture Program along with handling the dedicated trees and the street tree planting programs. Julie has won the Dennis McNamara Employee of the Year Award twice (in 1994 and 2011). She is also involved with the Florida Urban Forestry Council as past president (1999-2000), conference chair, award chair, and education chair. Julie has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Florida Urban Forestry Council. She has been an inspiration to the City of Orlando Parks team and her presence will be truly missed.
