Summary:
Orlando Fire Department is requesting to utilize Broward County Sheriff's Contract with Motorola Solutions Inc., of Schaumburg, Illinois, for the purchase of eighteen (18) Motorola APX6500 and APX7500 Mobile Dash Mounted Radios (9 sets) and installation in the amount of $103,258.97. These radios are replacing existing radios that have passed maximum life expectancy and are used to communicate with OFD dispatchers and with hospitals.
No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity. |

Recommended Action:
Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize the Broward County Sheriff's Contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc. as indicated above in the amount of $103,258.97, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office. |
