| | | | | | | | Subject: | Resolution of Necessity - Orlando Utilities Commission - Electric Transmission Easement Acquisition - Holden Avenue Road Widening Project | Summary: | Orange County is making road improvements to Holden Avenue between Orange Blossom Trail and South Texas Avenue, "Segment." The Orlando Utilities Commission, "OUC," operates an electric transmission facility within the Segment and in conjunction with the County's construction of road improvements, OUC must relocate several electric transmission structures. In order to accomplish the relocation, OUC must acquire easements adjacent to the Segment. OUC is authorized to acquire property by eminent domain but must do so in the City's name and must assume full responsibility for any and all liability and obligations associated with the condemnation action.
