Interlocal Agreement between Orange County and City of Orlando regarding Transfer of Jurisdiction Over Virginia Drive from North Orange Avenue to Ferris Avenue

Summary:
Virginia Drive is currently a County road from North Orange Avenue to Ferris Avenue in the City of Orlando, "Segment."  In conjunction with development in the area, the City has requested a transfer of jurisdiction of the Segment from the County to the City and County has agreed.  Upon execution of the Agreement, the City will assume operation and maintenance responsibilities over the Segment.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached Interlocal Agreement and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to execute same, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
