| Subject: | Ordinance No. 2017-4 amending the Land Development Code to revise concurrency requirements. (Economic Development) |
| Summary: | The attached ordinance amends Chapter 59 of the Land Development Code to update the concurrency review process as follows:
- Update level of service standards to match standards adopted in the Growth Management Plan.
- Update the concurrency evaluation, reservation and tracking process to streamline procedures.
- Revise the capacity reservation fee to delete the portion of the fee related to transportation impact fees, because concurrency no longer applies to transportation.
- Revise the fee for a capacity reservation that is extended longer than three years.
The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the LDC amendment on July 19, 2016 (LDC2016-00199). The adoption ordinance will be scheduled for the next available City Council meeting. |
