Amendment Number 1 to the Amended and Restated Development Order for Orlando International Airport Development of Regional Impact (Economic Development)
Summary:

The Orlando International Airport (OIA) DRI, located south of the Beachline Expressway (SR 528), west of Narcoossee Road, north of Central Florida Greeneway (SR 417) and east of Boggy Creek Road, is approximately 11,365 acres in size.  On September 20, 2016, the Municipal Planning Board approved the OIA DRI Amendment (Case #DRI2016-00004).

The proposed amendments include update Map H, revises language in the Transportation Conditions of the Development Order as it relates to bicycle facilities, and incorporates the State Statutes standard for biennial reporting.

These amendments were evaluated pursuant to the Notice of Proposed Change (NOPC) process managed by the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council as required by Florida Statutes. After this review, it has been determined that these changes do not constitute a substantial deviation to the DRI under section 380.06(19), Florida Statutes.

Recommended Action:

Approval of the attached development order and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk or Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon final review and approval by the City Attorney.
