Summary:

Wastewater Division is requesting to purchase a force flow halogen emergency shut off system from Water Treatment & Controls Co, Pensacola, FL, in the amount of $166,574.00. 

Water Treatment & Controls Co., is the exclusive authorized representative for Evoqua Water Technologies/Wallace and Tiernan Products for the State of Florida.  This system will be used for emergency shut off of the chlorine cylinders at Wastewater. 

No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity.

Recommended Action:
Approval of award to Water Treatment & Controls, Co., and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to issue a Purchase Order to Water Treatment & Controls, Co., as indicated above, in the amount of $166,574.00.
