State of Florida Drug Recognition Expert Call-Out Overtime Reimbursement Agreement

Summary:

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) administers funding for various grant programs. Under this agreement the Orlando Police Department (OPD) will be reimbursed $53.03 per hour up to $1,000.00 for overtime expenses incurred as a result of an OPD employed certified Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) conducting a qualified drug influence evaluation.

Recommended Action:
Approval by the City Council of the Overtime Agreement and award and execution by the Mayor and the Chief of Police, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office and the Grants Development Division.
