The attached contract with Ms. Adamaris Ramirez, who currently serves as a seasonal employee in the FPR Department, fills a vacant Administrative Assistant - Contract position in the Families, Parks and Recreation Department. The position has been vacant since the previous incumbent left.

The Administrative Assistant provides diverse administrative support for the FPR Director's Office, Parramore Kidz Zone, and the City's My Brother's Keeper Orlando initiative.

Except for a brief stint when she moved to Puerto Rico and then returned to Orlando and was employed by Orange County Government, Ms. Ramirez has been a seasonal FPR employee since 2007. Ms. Ramirez also worked for the City's Public Works Department for 5 years (1998-2003), for a total of 13 years with the City, and overall has 18 years of relevant experience. Her resume is attached.

This position is fully funded in the FPR budget.
