Utility Easement & Temporary Construction Easement for Renovation of Ivey Lane Elementary School
Summary:

The City owns an L-shaped 50 foot wide strip of land as part of Ivey Lane Park.  The L-shaped strip of land runs west from Ivey Lane and then north to Old Winter Garden Road.  The property has an address of 4540 Old Winter Garden Road.

Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) is totally renovating Ivey Lane Elementary School that abuts the City-owned strip of land to the south.  OCPS requires a Utility Easement and Temporary Construction Easement on an approximate 15 foot wide strip of the City-owned land for the design, permitting, construction and installation of improvements, lines, or facilities necessary for the underground fire suppression system for the renovated school.  

 
Fiscal & Efficiency Data: No Fiscal Impact.
Recommended Action:
Approval of Utility Easement and Temporary Construction Easement in substantially the forms attached; authorize the Mayor/ Pro Tem to execute both; all subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
