Construction and Maintenance Agreement between City of Orlando and Orange County Public Schools

Summary:

Orange County Public Schools, "OCPS", owns property at 750 South Rio Grande Avenue on which OCPS operates Jones High School, "Jones".  The City owns the Gore Street right-of-way adjacent to Jones.  In conjunction with construction of improvements to Jones, OCPS has requested that the City permit them to convert an existing curb inlet to a graded inlet within the Gore Street right-of-way.  City staff have agreed to the request on the condition that OCPS assume maintenance responsibilities for the new inlet.

Recommended Action:

Approval of the attached Agreement and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to execute same, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
