Summary:

Each year in the month of November, the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Chi Tau Chapter, celebrates the founding of their fraternity and the year’s collaborative efforts of uplift through community service. This year, through its 54th Annual Style and Grace Achievement Week Ball, on November 12, 2016, the fraternity saluted Commissioner Regina I. Hill as Citizen of the Year in recognition for outstanding dedication and leadership toward youth development.

Chi Tau Chapter’s goal is to continue supporting the Central Florida community and youth through its dynamic service and social change advocacy projects.

Recommended Action:

Mayor Dyer will call on Chief Administrative Officer Byron Brooks, who will introduce Russell Drake, former Basileus of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Chi Tau Chapter, to present Commissioner Hill with the Citizen of the Year Award on behalf of Omega Psi Phi.
