The Fleet Management Division and the Procurement and Contracts Division have evaluated the bid submittals and recommend award of a contract to Don Reid Ford, Inc., of Maitland, FL.  The bid submitted by Hub City Ford-Mercury, Inc. d/b/a Hub City Ford, Inc., with the financial reasonableness formula of 2% applied, is higher than the bid submitted by Don Reid Ford, Inc., by $11,377.00.
 
The contract is for the purchase of twenty-five (25) vehicles at a total estimated expenditure of $618,650.00.  These twenty-five (25) vehicles will replace twenty-five (25) like kind vehicles, currently in use, which are scheduled for replacement.

Recommended Action:
Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to execute a contract with Don Reid Ford, Inc. of Maitland, FL, as indicated above, in the estimated amount of $618,650.00.
