Summary:

Streets and Stormwater Division is requesting to utilize Board of County Commissioners, Orange County Florida Contract #Y16-138-J2 with Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. of Zephyrhills, Florida, for the purchase of Cold-In-Place Bituminous Recycling with Asphalt Resurfacing.

 

The current contract term is effective through February 21, 2017 and there is the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.  This is an indefinite quantity contract.  Actual expenditures will vary as usage will be on an as-needed basis at the established unit prices and available funding.  Based on prior usage reports and information provided by the primary user, the estimated annual expenditure is $500,000.00.

 

No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity.

Recommended Action:

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize the Board of County Commissioners, Orange County Florida Contract with Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. as indicated above in the estimated annual amount of $500,000.00, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
