Subject:Ordinance No. 2016-91 amending the Future Land Use Designation from Downtown Activity Center to Residential-High Intensity for Property Generally Located North of Granada Ct., South of E. Marks St., West of Irma Ave., East of N. Magnolia Ave (0.33 ac.). (Marks St. Townhomes PD)(Economic Development)
Summary:

The undeveloped +/-0.33 ac. site is generally located south of E. Marks St., north of Granada Ct., east of N. Magnolia Ave., and west of Irma Ave. (110 and 114 E. Marks Ave.). The applicant is requesting a small scale future land use amendment from Downtown Activity Center to Residential-High Intensity to allow a 10 unit townhome development. A separate ordinance will address the Planned Development (PD) zoning (ZON2016-00016).

The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the future land use map amendment (GMP2016-00013) and the Planned Development (PD) zoning application on September 20, 2016 and City Council accepted this recommendation on October 24, 2016.  The first reading of this ordinance was approved on November 14, 2016.

Recommended Action:

Adopt the attached ordinance 2016-91 and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk or Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon final review and approval by the City Attorney.
