FY16-17 Funding Agreements and Distribution of Homeless Services Program Grants

Summary:
As part of the FY16-17 budget process, City Council approved funding for homeless program services. Through the Community Investment Program, the City of Orlando invests in efforts that address community problems by granting funds to meet the needs of a growing central Florida population and address the diverse needs and challenges Orlando residents experience. Approval is requested for the funding stated in draft agreements and distribution of approved funds to designated agencies in the amounts specified in "Exhibit A". Draft funding agreements are attached.

Recommended Action:
Approve and authorize the Mayor/Pro-tem and City Clerk to execute the funding agreements with the organizations in the amounts stated in this agenda item, subject to review and approval by the Office of Legal Affairs.
