Summary:
The attached ordinance assigns Planned Development zoning to property located north of Wewahootee Road, east of State Road 417, south of State Road 528, and west of International Corporate Park Boulevard, comprised of approximately 2,559 acres. The property is currently vacant.
The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the zoning of Planned Development (ZON2015-00033) on November 17, 2015 and approved amendments to the Planned Development on May 17, 2016. The annexation was approved by the City Council on March 14, 2016. The GMP amendments, Office Low Intensity, Industrial, Community Activity Center and Conservation Future Land Use designation and new subarea Policy S.40.8, were approved as part of the 2016 winter cycle of amendments which had its second reading on March 14, 2016. The first reading of the ordinance was heard on October 10, 2016.
The PD Ordinance has been updated since the first reading, the changes are as follows;
- Deletion of Section 1.j) “UXO Agreement. Prior to any building permit issuance, a record of the termination 220 or satisfaction of the UXO agreement must be transmitted to the City.” This is not needed because the paragraph directly above it quotes the recording information for the Termination.
- Add “Adult entertainment facility” as a prohibited use.
