Summary:

This item authorizes the City to enter into an Employment Agreement with Ms. Tara Russakov to serve as full time Marketing/Communications Coordinator for the Families, Parks and Recreation Department (FPR), one of the department's existing vacant budgeted positions.

In this role, Ms. Russakov will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and promotional program that will provide on-going and timely information to the public and targeted populations about FPR programs, facilities, and events throughout the City.

Ms. Russakov holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication (Broadcast Journalism) and has 24 years of experience in this field.

Recommended Action:
Approve the attached Employment Agreement with Ms. Tara Russakov and authorize signature by the Mayor/Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk, subject to satisfactory review by the City Attorney's Office.
