FY 2016 HUD-Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) agreement between the City of Orlando and The Southern Territorial Headquarters of The Salvation Army

Summary:
On July 25, 2016, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2016 Annual Action Plan, a request from The Southern Territorial Headquarters of The Salvation Army for ESG funding in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000).  Funding will support personnel costs and shelter operations.   

Fiscal & Efficiency Data:

FY 2016 HUD - Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funding was approved on 7/25/2016 as part of the Annual Action Plan.


Recommended Action:
Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement with The Southern Territorial Headquarters of The Salvation Army for ESG funding in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) after review of the documents by the City Attorney's Office and Grants Development Supervisor.
