FY 2016 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding agreement between the City of Orlando and Lighthouse Central Florida, Inc.

Summary:
On July 25, 2016, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2016 Annual Action Plan, a request from Lighthouse Central Florida, Inc. for CDBG funding in the amount of Forty-Nine Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-Six Dollars ($49,866.00).  Funding will support salaries of vision rehabilitation specialists who will provide vision rehabilitation services for approximately forty (40) low- and moderate-income individuals who are visually disabled.

Fiscal & Efficiency Data:

FY 2016 HUD - Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding was approved on 7/25/2016 as part of the Annual Action Plan.


Recommended Action:
Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement with Lighthouse Central Florida, Inc. in the amount of Forty-Nine Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-Six Dollars ($49,866.00) after review of the documents by the City Attorney's Office and Grants Development Supervisor.
