Summary:

Situated in the Parramore neighborhood, the +/-0.90 acre subject property (PID: 26-22-29-7124-00-081) is generally located south of Pittman St., north of W. Robinson St., and west of N. Hughey Ave. The site is developed with warehouse buildings (Clean the World Recycling Operations).

The applicant (Keating/Schlitt, PA)  is requesting to change the future land land use designations from Industrial and Office-Medium Intensity to Urban Activity Center and rezone the subject site from O-2 with the Traditional (/T) City and Parramore Heritage (/PH) Overlays  to AC-2/T/PH to  make the site's industrial/office uses consistent with the future land use and zoning.

The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of this map amendment (GMP2016-00006) and the associated rezoning (ZON2016-00006) on May 17, 2016. City Council approved their recommendation on June 20, 2016.

The first reading of the ordinance was approved on August 29, 2016.

Recommended Action:

Adopt the attached ordinance number 2016-62 and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk or Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon its final review and approval by the City Attorney.
