FAA Grant for Orlando International Airport
Summary:

GOAA has submitted a project application dated July 1, 2016 to the FAA for a grant in the amount of $10,983,997 for a project at the Orlando International Airport consisting of the following:

Rehabilitate Taxiway G & H Safety Area Improvements, Rehabilitate Taxiway C (3,200' X 75'), Security Enhancements (CCTV), Rehabilitate Runway 17R/35L (10,000' X 150'), Rehabilitate Taxiway J (7,200 X 75') - Design Only

The grant must be accepted by the Sponsor (City) by September 9, 2016.

Recommended Action:
Approval and acceptance of the grant, and authorization for the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the grant agreement and any grant-related contracts and documents, subject to review by the City Attorney's Office.
