Second Amendment and Renewal to the Contract for Operation, Maintenance and Engineering Services for the Water Conserv II Reclaimed Water System Joint Facilities between City of Orlando, Orange County and Woodard and Curran, Inc.

Summary:

The City of Orlando and Orange County, "City/County", and Woodard and Curran, Inc., "Operator", have previously entered into a Contract for Operation, Maintenance and Engineering services, dated September 21, 2006, for the Water Conserv II reclaimed water system joint facilities, "Contract."  Section 19.2 of the Contract allows  for renewal based upon negotiation of the scope of services and reimbursement of costs. The Contract was extended to September 30, 2016 in a First Amendment and Renewal.  The parties have recently negotiated additional terms and have agreed to extend the Contract for an additional five years under the attached Second Amendment.  


Fiscal & Efficiency Data: City's obligations with respect to contract from Fund No. 4100.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached Second Amendment and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to execute same, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
