Summary:
The City of Orlando owns and operates the Iron Bridge Regional Water Reclamation Facility and the Water Conserv II Water Reclamation Facility. The City and other government entities, including the City of Winter Park, the City of Maitland, the City of Casselberry, Orange County, and Seminole County, discharge wastewater flows to those facilities, which include wastewater flows from Industrial Users within those jurisdictions. The City of Orlando must maintain and implement an Industrial Waste Pretreatment Program, which is contained in Chapter 30 of the City of Orlando Code. All users that discharge water flows to the facilities must also comply with Chapter 30 of the Orlando City Code in order to comply with federal and state environmental regulations. The form agreement attached between the City of Orlando and the jurisdictions named above is necessary in order to ensure that the jurisdictions and the Industrial Users in those jurisdictions comply with Chapter 30 of the Orlando City Code. |
