Summary:

Upon approval of the proposed millage rate set forth herein, the Downtown South Neighborhood Improvement District will advise the Property Appraiser of the proposed millage rate, roll-back rate and date, time and place at which a public hearing will be held to consider the Downtown South Neighborhood Improvement District’s proposed millage rate and tentative budget.
Fiscal & Efficiency Data:

The proposed Downtown South Neighborhood Improvement District millage rate will generate $394,458 budgeted at the collection percentage of 95 percent per the requirements for special districts.
Recommended Action:

Approval of the proposed Downtown South Neighborhood Improvement District millage rate of 1.0000 and authorization for the CFO to submit the proposed millage rate, roll-back rate and date, time and place of the public hearing to consider the proposed millage rate and tentative budget to the Property Appraiser pursuant to Section 200.065, Florida Statute.
