On June 27, 2011, City Council approved the subject contract with Johnson-Laux Construction LLC to provide Job Order Contracting Services for Fleet and Facilities Management Division. Job order contracting services is for renovation, rehabilitation, maintenance, construction, and repair of facilities with minimal design requirement and is limited to individual job orders valued at less than $100,000.00 each.
Fleet and Facilities Management Division is requesting approval to extend the subject contract with Johnson-Laux Construction, LLC for two (2) months in an estimated amount of $300,000.00 while a new contract is developed and executed. Johnson-Laux Construction, LLC has agreed to extend their contract at the existing terms and conditions.
Johnson-Laux Construction LLC agrees to continue to meet the M/WBE goals during the contract extension period.
