| | | | | | | | | Subject: | Employment Agreement for Susana Michaud, Civil Engineer II | | Summary: | As a result of a significant upturn in development activity, it is becoming increasingly difficult for staff assigned to site review engineering to provide timely reviews for applicants. Susana, a graduate of Valencia State College, augmented current full-time staff under a temporary/seasonal contract while completing her degree, and has demonstrated herself to be a quick learner with a strong work ethic.
The Engineering Services Division seeks to enter into a Two-Year Employment Agreement with Ms. Michaud in order to improve our customer service for applicants who must obtain permits from the City. | | Fiscal and Efficiency Data: | The Fiscal Impact Statement is attached. | | Recommended Action: | Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Employment Agreement with Ms. Susana Michaud, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office. | | Contact: | |
