The City's Growth Management Plan identifies the Semoran Boulevard BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) as a recommended mobility project for the 2010-2030 time period. The first step in accomplishing this goal is to conduct a corridor study, "Study", to provide data and analysis relating to existing and future travel demand, trip patterns, modal preferences and transportation needs along the State Road 436 corridor. Per the attached Agreement, LYNX will contract for completion of the Study which is estimated to cost One Million Two Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($1,270,000.00). The City's share is estimated at Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($450,000.00). LYNX will also enter into agreements with Orange County and Seminole County, for contributions of One Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($190,000.00) and Four Hundred Fifty Five Thousand Dollars ($455,000.00) respectively. Florida Department of Transportation will complete the balance of the project budget by contributing One Hundred Seventy Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00).
