On October 19, 2015, Council approved a contract award to Starr Mechanical, Inc. for HVAC Mechanical Services. The estimated annual expenditure at the time was $120,000.00. The initial contract term is three (3) years with an option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. On January 25, 2016, Council approved an Amendment to the contract to increase the contract amount to $654,000.00 in support of the Green Works Orlando Project.
The Facilities Management Division has identified a growing demand for HVAC mechanical services for general maintenance and repairs that will be needed at various City buildings during the contract term in addition to the Green Works Orlando Project. The Facilities Management Division is requesting to increase the Contract estimated annual amount by $180,000.00 in order to accommodate the needs of the City.
