Summary:

Proposed is a rezoning (ZON2015-00035) from "No City Zoning" with Aircraft Noise Overlay (/AN) to Public Use (P)/AN, for the expansion of Barber Park, a +/-36.34 acre public recreational amenity generally located south of Lake Margaret Drive, north of Gatlin Avenue and west of Dixie Belle Drive. 

The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the rezoning on November 17, 2015. City Council approved the rezoning on first reading on Feb. 8, 2016.

Recommended Action:
Adopt the attached ordinance number 2016-15 and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk or Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon final review and approval by the City Attorney.
