The attached ordinance will annex property located north of Wewahootee Road, east of State Road 417, south of State Road 528, and west of International Corporate Park Boulevard, comprised of approximately 2,559 acres. The property is currently vacant.
The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the annexation (ANX2015-00013, ANX2015-00019 and ANX2015-00020), the GMP amendment to assign Office Low Intensity, Industrial, Community Activity Center and Conservation (GMP2015-00038), a new subarea policy (GMP2015-00039) and associated zoning of Planned Development (ZON2015-00033) on November 17, 2015. The GMP amendments, which assign the Office Low Intensity, Industrial, Community Activity Center and Conservation Future Land Use designations and new subarea Policy S.40.8, are included in the 2016 winter cycle of amendments which had its first reading on December 14, 2015.
The adoption ordinance is scheduled for March 14, 2016.
