The Mayor will call upon Workplace Giving Co-Chair, Jim Hunt, to provide an introduction and give a summary of the 2015-2016 Campaign.  The Campaign was co-chaired by Jim Hunt, Deputy Public Works Director; Deputy Chief Keith Maddox, OFD; Michelle McCrimmon, Controller; and Deputy Chief Rob Pigman, OPD.

The 2015-2016 Workplace Giving Campaign provided City employees the opportunity to contribute to several umbrella organizations or any 501(c)(3) organization of their choice.  The umbrella organizations attending Council may include:  Heart of Florida United Way; America's Charities; Community Health Charities of Florida; Independent Charities of America; Local Independent Charities of America; EarthShare; United Arts of Central Florida; Global Impact; and Neighbor to Nation.

The Mayor will present checks to the attending representatives of the umbrella organizations, and will present awards to the large, mid-size and small departments having gone the farthest to achieve their monetary and employee participation goals.
