Ms. Arlen Maylen Dominguez submitted a letter of resignation as a Board member of the Orlando Utilities Commission, effective August 11, 2015.  As is set forth in the Charter that establishes the OUC, the City’s Nominating Board met on December 9, 2015 and submitted names to OUC for consideration for the Commission seat that has a term of January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2019.  At its meeting on January 26, 2016, the OUC nominated Mr. Cesar Calvet as a member to the Commission to fill the vacancy created by Ms. Dominguez’s departure from the OUC Board.  Pursuant to the OUC Charter, the City Council shall elect or reject the Orlando Utilities Commission nominee.
