On November 5, 2012, Council approved a contract award to Workday, Inc. for the administrative service system.  The initial contract term is five (5) years with an option to renew for additional terms.

The Office of Business and Financial Services is now requesting approval to extend the subscription for an additional five (5) years through November 4, 2022.  In addition, the Order Form will include new functionality to enhance the HCM and Financial modules that were not previously available.  Workday will continue to provide existing software-as-a-service applications as included in the current Master Service Agreement and Order Forms.

The estimated annual expenditure is an additional $67,046 for the current term to add the new functionality, $837,138 for the next term and $787,288 for the remaining terms. 

Approval of Amendment to the Master Service Agreement and Order Form with Workday, Inc. and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to execute the Amendment and Order Form as indicated above in the estimated annual expenditure of $67,046 for the current term, $837,138 for the next term and $787,288 for the remaining terms, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
