Summary:
The attached ordinance will annex, assign future land use and zoning to property generally located on the north side of Daubert Street, south of Roush Avenue and east of Maltby Avenue. The subject area includes a portion of Lake Baldwin Lane and is comprised of +/-1.88 acres. Under City ownership, the eastern portion is comprised of a City retention pond, while the western portion is undeveloped. Annexation is being requested in order for the subject site to be brought into the City. If annexed, the property will not create an enclave.
On October 20, 2015, the Municipal Planning Board (MPB) recommended approval of the annexation (ANX2015-00012), the GMP amendment to assign Industrial and Residential Low Intensity future land use designations (GMP2015-00027), and assign R-1 and I-C zoning districts with the Aircraft Noise (/AN) overlays (ZON2015-00024).
The second reading/hearing/adoption is scheduled for February 29, 2016. |
