The City owns property in Orlando Loch Haven Park adjacent to the Orlando Garden Club.  The Garden Club has leased the City’s property for parking, landscaping and beautification for many years and wishes to continue the agreement.  

The property is shown in yellow on the attached exhibit and is to the east and west of the Garden Club's facility.  At such times the parking is not being used by the Garden Club, the City and its Loch Haven tenants may use it.  The Garden Club will also allow the City to use its facility two (2) times per year at no charge. 

The term of the Lease Agreement shall be extended for two (2) years commencing on January 24, 2016, and ending on January 31, 2018, and may be extended for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each, on terms mutually acceptable to both parties.  Either party may terminate the Lease upon 60 days written notice to the other.

Approval and authorization for the Mayor/Pro Tem and City Clerk to execute the Amendment, substantially in the form attached, and approval and authorization, without further City Council approval, for the Real Estate Division Manager to execute the additional renewal options referenced herein, so long as such renewals are in conformance with the terms and conditions of the Lease, all subject to the review and approval of the City Attorney's Office.
