Summary:
The City owns a vacant lot at 607 Lake Dot Circle, the northeast intersection of Lake Dot Circle and W. Concord St. (Location Map attached). The Salvation Army owns the remainder of the block and would like to purchase the City lot to include in their Parramore Campus. Attached Master Plan shows use of the property as green space.
The Salvation Army previously owned the property and sold it to the City in 1989 around the time the City was opening the Amway Arena.
The City and Salvation Army have been considering this sale since 2013 when the Salvation Army had the property independently appraised for $165,000 which is the sales price.
The City will reserve back a City Services Easement for existing sidewalk and related improvements located on the property. The disposition is subject to Creative Village Development, LLC (CVD) releasing the property from Option Agreement, Master Development, and all other related agreements for land not necessary for CVD's redevelopment.
