Summary:

The Transportation Engineering Division is requesting to utilize Brevard County Purchasing Services Contract #B-4-15-65 with Advanced Cabling Solutions, Inc. of Fern Park, Florida for Traffic Operations Fiber Optic Construction, Rehab, Maintenance and Emergency Repairs.  

The current contract term is effective through July 20, 2018 and there is the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.  This is an indefinite quantity contract.  Actual expenditures will vary as usage will be on an as-needed basis at the established unit prices and available funding.  Based on prior usage reports and information provided by the primary user, the estimated annual expenditure is $350,000.00 in Fiscal Year 2015-16 and $100,000.00 in following years. 

No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity.

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize the Brevard County Purchasing Services Contract with Advanced Cabling Solutions, Inc. as indicated above in the estimated amount of $350,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2015-16 and $100,000.00 in following years.
