The Orlando Venues Department is requesting approval of an agreement with SimplexGrinnell for inspection, testing and repair of the CCTV Security System at the Orlando Citrus Bowl.  The initial contract term is five (5) years with an option to renew for additional terms.  The estimated expenditure for the initial term is $118,615.00.

In addition, Venues Department is requesting standardization of recurring service from SimplexGrinnell for inspection, testing and repair of the CCTV Security System at the Orlando Citrus Bowl.  The current CCTV camera equipment was installed during the recent Citrus Bowl reconstruction project. The equipment is extensively used to monitor high profile areas and entrances inside the Orlando Citrus Bowl. SimplexGrinnell is the exclusive provider of security service to maintain this equipment and follows equipment specific protocols that is not available from other suppliers.

No City Certified M/WBE vendors are registered for this commodity.

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to enter into an agreement, and subsequent renewals, with SimplexGrinnell, as noted above, in the estimated amount of $118,615.00 for the initial term, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
