Summary:
On July 27, 2015, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2015 Annual Action Plan, a request from Aspire Health Partners, Inc. d/b/a The Center for Drug Free Living, Inc. for CDBG funding in the amount of Thirty-Five Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars ($35,650.00) for their Women & Children's Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Program.
Aspire Health Partners, Inc. is a private non-profit corporation that provides comprehensive chemical abuse/dependency treatment services in a highly structured environment seven (7) days per week, twenty-four (24) hours a day to women, women with children or pregnant and postpartum females age 18 and older. This CDBG funding will provide substance abuse/mental health counseling and treatment, educational and vocational tutoring and training, parenting classes and health services to two (2) eligible women who are homeless, low- and moderate- income City residents. |
