FY 2015 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) agreement between the City of Orlando and Primrose Center, Inc.

Summary:

On July 27, 2015, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2015 Annual Action Plan, a request from Primrose Center, Inc. for CDBG funding in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000).  Primrose Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides employment training services to individuals with severe developmental and intellectual disabilities who are low- and moderate- income citizens of Orlando.  Primrose Center, Inc. will use this funding to provide employment training services to six (6) individuals who reside in the City of Orlando.  


Fiscal & Efficiency Data:

FY2015 HUD – Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) was approved on 07/27/2015 as part of the Annual Action Plan.


Recommended Action:

Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement with Primrose Center, Inc. in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand ($25,000) after review of the documents by the City Attorney's office and Grants Development Supervisor.
