Summary:

The changes to the Orlando City Code set forth in the attached Ordinance are part of an overall revision of the City Code to identify sections that have become obsolete, are unnecessarily duplicative of federal or state law, or which need modifications to better reflect current practices and technologies.

This Ordinance updates terminology regarding the Florida Building Code and City Departments.
Fiscal & Efficiency Data: No fiscal impact.
Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached Ordinance number 2015-56 as drafted and authorization for the Mayor and the City Clerk or the Mayor Pro Tempore and the City Clerk to execute the same upon adoption and review by the City Attorney.
