Summary:

The Office of Justice Programs has approved the Orlando Police Department for funding under the FY 15 Body-Worn Camera Policy and Implementation Program: Implementation for New BWC Program for Mid-Sized Agencies in the amount of $497,480.00 for the City of Orlando. The Body Worn Camera Pilot Implementation program (BWC PIP) will support the implementation of body-worn camera programs for the City of Orlando Police Department.

Recommended Action:
Approval and acceptance of the grant award by City Council and execution of the grant documents by the Mayor, subject to review by the City Attorney's Office and the Grants Development Division.
