Summary:

The Public Works Department is requesting to utilize TCPN Contract #R5143 with SAK Construction, LLC of Miami, FL as an emergency procurement, for the purchase of trenchless technology rehabilitation and related items & services for L.B. McLeod Rd Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project #CIP0059_P in the estimated amount of $2,285,346.00.

The condition of the existing 48” diameter RCP gravity sanitary sewer pipeline and manholes beneath the westbound lanes of L.B. McLeod Road is extremely deteriorated, lacks structural integrity and requires repair as soon as possible. The proposed pipe lining will fully restore the structural integrity and improve sanitary sewage capacity.

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize the TCPN Contract with SAK Construction, LLC for the purchase of Trenchless Technology Rehabilitation and Related Items & Services as indicated above in the estimated amount of $2,285,346.00, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
