Summary:
The attached ordinance will amend the future land use designation from Residential Low Intensity to Industrial and amends Future Land Use Subarea Policy S.3.3 to allow certain vehicle access to and from the site. The property is located north of W.D. Judge Road, east of Mercy Drive, south of W. New Hampshire Street and west of N. John Young Parkway and is approximately 123.2 acres. The amendment s are being requested for a future industrial park development.
The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the GMP designation from Residential Low Intensity to Industrial future land use designation (GMP2015-00022), the amendment to Subarea Policy S.3.3 to allow certain vehicle access to and from the site (GMP2015-00028), the zoning amendment to PD/W (ZON2015-00021) and the detailed master plan to allow up to 1.03 million sq. ft. of industrial use in two phases (MPL2015-00020) on August 18, 2015. The zoning amendment and master plan application have been appealed; therefore, only the GMP amendments are contained in the attached ordinance.
The adoption ordinance for the GMP amendment will be scheduled following review by the Florida Department of Economic Development – Community Planning Division. |
