Agreement between City of Orlando and Southern Off Road Bicycle Association
Summary:

The Southern Off Road Bicycle Association (SORBA), incorporated in 2013, provides volunteer labor and other resources for the creation, construction, and maintenance of mountain biking trails in Central Florida, including trails in the Little Big Econ State Forest, Soldier’s Creek/Environmental Center, and Markham Woods.

The attached Agreement will allow SORBA to offer these same volunteer services to the City of Orlando as it relates to maintenance of the pump track and mountain bike trail at Lake Druid Park.  The result will be an enhanced level of service for the mountain biking facilities at the park beyond what the City alone can provide, serving both the interests of Orlando's mountain biking community and the general public.

These services will be provided by SORBA at no charge to the City.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the Agreement with SORBA and execution of the Agreement by the Mayor and/or Mayor Pro Tem.
