The attached Development Order amends the Development Order (DO) for the Millenia Development of Regional Impact (DRI). The +/-374.3 acre Millenia DRI is generally located south and east of Vineland Road, north of a portion of Shingle Creek and west of S. John Parkway.
The Development of Regional Impact Development Order (DO) amendment will allow, with certain restrictions, the conversion of offices uses to hotel, residential and retail on portions of Parcels L and M and other Office Parcels (Exhibits C and D). There will be no increase in vehicular trips.
It also will extend the build out date of the existing Development Order to December 30, 2020. No development plan were submitted with this amendment.
Pursuant to Section 380(19)(e)(2)(k), Florida Statutes, this minor amendment does not require formal review by state and regional agencies as would be required through a Notice of Proposed Change (NOPC). This amendment will be provided though to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) and the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council after approval.
The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the DRI amendment on June 16, 2015 and City Council approved this recommendation on July 13, 2015.
