Summary:
The Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Countywide is a formula grant that provides funding for state and local initiatives, technical assistance, training, personnel, equipment, supplies, contractual support, and information systems to support law enforcement programs. The City of Orlando anticipates receiving approximately $50,000.00.

Fiscal & Efficiency Data: FIS not required at this time.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the grant application by City Council and execution of signature memo by Mayor, subject to review by the City Attorney's Office and the Grant Development Division.
